Pinterest is an excellent source for businesses! If you don’t know what Pinterest is, you could be missing out on website traffic, subscribers, and even sales! Let’s get down to the nitty-gritty of Pinterest and I’ll show you why your business needs it!
What is Pinterest?
Pinterest brands themselves as a search engine much like Google. The difference? Pinterest uses images to show you want you are looking for instead of just links and titles. As an example, if you were a mother looking for how to make baby food, you can either look it up on Google and get a bunch of Titles about this topic or search on Pinterest and receive images of the baby food that people have made with recipes and personal experiences.
How a Your Ideal Client uses Pinterest?
Let’s use the above example to show you how your client uses Pinterest. I, a mother of a young child, got onto Pinterest and searched Baby Food. Pinterest will then show me pictures of different types of baby food both DIY and products you can purchase. I can go through these pictures, click on the images to get to websites, or even save the image for later.
How Your Business uses Pinterest?
If you were a baby food business, the images that I see above could be your product. I could click on the image, go to your website, and even purchase the product all because of an image I saw that attracted me! As you can see, just one image could bring in a lot of traffic! The best part, if I like your website or product, I might repin the image that I liked. Thus, without any extra work from you, I’m spreading the news of your website to my friends and getting you even more traffic!
